Wireless Cities: Community Context

In 2005 DIGITAL WATERSHED conceived the first Wireless Cities conference and produced it in collaboration with the University of Minnesota's Digital Technology Center and the Metropolitan Design Council. The conference program was co-developed with Brad Hokanson of the University's College of Design. Presenters included Wikipedia Foundation, Creative Commons and the City of Portland, among others.

 

Wireless Cities: Communities of Interests

In 2007 DIGITAL WATERSHED once again developed the conference program along with the College of Design, the Digital Media Center and the Institute for New Media Studies. The program also offered a live blog feed, juried papers and presentations by MIT, Ohio State University and Digital Watershed.
